Carole Baillargeon, artist
Carole Baillargeon has been pursuing her creative work for forty years, which has led her to carry out magnificent projects in Quebec, America and Europe.
She explores natural dyes and inks, primarily using plants from her living environment. The series Studies and Pages from the Exploration Notebook are built with the spontaneity of simple gestures: folding, dipping, immersing, making the fluids dance on the surface of the paper. The arrangements of the colored fluids become more precise through associations by juxtaposition, superposition, and transparency to reveal astonishing nuances that are sometimes lively, sometimes sober.
Several of his works are available online and in stores.
